Director of Brand Marketing

As Director of Brand Marketing, you will own the development and execution of the LFGO brand, ensuring it connects with aspirational consumers and builds credibility across diverse touchpoints. You will create and execute a brand strategy that drives awareness, affinity, and loyalty while extending the brand's presence into real-world retail environments.

This is a unique opportunity to craft campaigns, partnerships, ambassador programs, and event sponsorship strategies that amplify LFGO’s reach and cultural relevance.

You have deep experience building brands that extend beyond campaigns to create lasting cultural resonance. You understand how to effectively and efficiently collaborate with creators, manage lean teams and budgets, and craft brand experiences that thrive both online and offline. From convenience stores to specialty retailers, you will ensure LFGO’s brand stands out everywhere it appears.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Identity and Strategy: Define and evolve the LFGO brand to be omnipresent and aspirational. Ensure the brand resonates with today’s cultural moments, driving consumer sharing both online and offline.
  • Consumer Connection: Dive deep into understanding LFGO’s target audience, crafting a brand that connects emotionally and informs consumers about specific product use cases in exciting, relevant ways.
  • Online and Offline Activation: Bring the brand to life across digital platforms, e-commerce, and physical retail spaces, including convenience stores and specialty retailers, with consistent and compelling branding.
  • Experiential Marketing: Develop and execute bold partnership, ambassador, and event sponsorship strategies to amplify awareness and foster deep consumer connections.
  • Cultural Relevance: Stay ahead of trends and ensure LFGO is at the forefront of cultural conversations, plugged into today’s vibe and tomorrow’s aspirations.
  • Creative Leadership: Collaborate with agencies, lean creative teams, and product teams to develop breakthrough creative that informs, inspires, and aligns with the brand identity.
  • Retail Brand Experience: Build LFGO’s retail presence, creating compelling in-store experiences that resonate with customers and extend the brand identity into physical environments.
  • Content and Creator Strategies: Build strategies to collaborate with creators and influencers to amplify LFGO’s presence in organic and culturally relevant ways.
  • Fast and Nimble Execution: Drive quick decision-making and adaptable strategies to keep LFGO ahead of the curve in a dynamic marketplace.
  • Budget Management: Deliver impactful strategies while efficiently managing lean budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Metrics and Optimization: Continuously measure and optimize brand performance, leveraging insights to refine and improve strategies across all channels.

  • Proven experience building and managing culture-defining brands with both online and offline presence.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, with expertise in connecting with aspirational and mass-market audiences.
  • Structured, strategic thinker with a knack for executing cohesive brand identities across digital, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Bold, creative leader with a track record of executing big ideas in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Experience developing and executing partnership, ambassador, and sponsorship programs.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, creator partnerships, and content strategies to drive organic and paid growth.
  • Background in physical goods marketing and creating compelling retail experiences in diverse environments.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage lean teams and budgets effectively.
  • Passion for cultural trends, with an ability to integrate brands into the fabric of emerging movements.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align internal and external stakeholders.
  • Role based in NYC with travel expected.
